Production
In production games you do not start with all your animals: you earn gold and diamonds, hold mines and let factories build new animals. This is how production works.
Production games: besides fighting you collect gold and diamonds and make new animals. Switch it on when you create a game.

Headquarters
Every team with animals gets a headquarters (12 hit points) next to its army. New animals come out of it. Only enemies can shoot it, and if it is destroyed the team is out, together with its animals and orders.
Gold
Used to make animals. You start with 3 gold and get 1 more at the start of every turn, plus 1 for every gold mine you own, minus 1 for every 4 animals you have (upkeep, never below 0).
Diamonds
Needed for heavy animals, factories and the Bee and Eagle. You start with 2 and get 1 per turn for every diamond mine you own.

Mines
Gold mines (yellow flag) and diamond mines (blue flag). Stand alone within 1 tile of the flag: a free mine is yours after 2 turns in a row, a mine of an enemy after 3. Leaving, or sharing the spot with an enemy, starts the count again.
Making animals
Ordering an animal needs no command point: the gold is paid at once and the animal comes out of the headquarters after as many of your turns as it costs. Animals costing up to 4 are made at the headquarters. A ready animal appears on a free tile next to it and may act in that same turn.
Heavy animals and factories
Animals costing 5 to 8 are made at a factory: they cost cost - 3 gold and cost - 3 diamonds and take cost - 3 turns. A Beaver builds a factory on a free tile next to it for 4 diamonds (8 hit points, at most 2 per team, only enemies can shoot it).
Bee and Eagle
They never move, so a Beaver places them on a free tile next to it for their gold price plus 2 diamonds. They cannot act in the turn they are placed.
Army limit
A team may have at most one and a half times its starting army, animals still in production included.
